November 10th 2013
St Andrew’s Church welcomes allcomers, whether this is your first time or thousandth time in church. You are welcome whatever your age, gender, marital status, disability, race or sexuality. You are welcome whether you have a deep and mature faith in Christ; are uncertain and still seeking; or have no faith. If you are new to church, please do take a welcome leaflet to be found in the pews; and do not hesitate to ask one of the welcomers if you have any queries.
To anyone attending for Remembrance Sunday. Our act of remembrance will take place at 11 a.m.
The PCC have agreed that StAPH, our church plant at Woodlands School, will run thrice monthly including third Sundays from next week onwards, meeting at 10.30 a.m. on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month. Going forward, we have also agreed to seek to employ a half time leader, with a salary of £11k. Please speak to Greg or Alex for a job description, person specification or for an informal discussion. The post will be advertised across other local churches, but we want to do everything possible to encourage applications from within our own fellowship. Do pray for StAPH as it commences another exciting stage of its journey.
Please note our next Pram Service for pre-school children and their carers takes place on Tues 12th Nov at 9.15 a.m. with tea and coffee served from 8.45. A fun half hour with stories, song and craft. All welcome.
