7th September 2014 – 12th Sunday after Trinity
St. Andrew’s Church welcomes allcomers, whether this is your first time or thousandth time in church. You are welcome whatever your age, gender, marital status, disability, race or sexuality. You are welcome whether you have a deep and mature faith in Christ; are uncertain and still seeking; or have no faith. If you are new to church, please do take a welcome leaflet to be found in the pews; and do not hesitate to ask one of the welcomers if you have any queries.
Please note that because of the increased number of babies/toddlers attending St. Andrew’s on Sunday mornings for the 10am service, we have begun to offer a staffed crèche in the side room for the convenience of parents.
Congratulations to Barbara and Brian Warner on celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
The church council has been advised by the Archdeacon of Coventry that we must take steps to clear any graves in the churchyard that have any unauthorised objects: this includes anything that is not sited in the gravestone itself e.g. vases, ornaments, artificial flowers etc. to facilitate the cutting of the grass. We would be grateful if you are responsible for any grave that does not conform to the Diocese’s rules if you would remove unauthorised objects by the end of September at the latest. If you know anyone else who is responsible for such a grave, please bring these concerns to their attention. Beyond this date, the PCC will remove objects itself.
We are looking for volunteers to operate the laptop which projects powerpoint etc. onto the screens on a rota basis. Anyone who is interested should speak to Greg or Steve Martin.
For all @ 4pm Service
