4th October 2015 – 18th Sunday after Trinity
St. Andrew’s Church welcomes allcomers, whether this is your first time or thousandth time in church. You are welcome whatever your age, gender, marital status, disability, race or sexuality. You are welcome whether you have a deep and mature faith in Christ; are uncertain and still seeking; or have no faith. If you are new to church, please do take a welcome leaflet to be found in the pews; and do not hesitate to ask one of the welcomers if you have any queries.
We will be observing our customary pattern this year by celebrating Harvest on two consecutive Sundays, today at Worship 4 All and next Sunday, Oct 11th with Holy Communion. Please see Lesley Lee for details of this year’s appeal.
We are grateful to God for answering prayers for Andrews Rodgers who has now found accommodation in Shrewsbury. He also visited the Christian book shop where the previous customer had paid for the next person to come in to have a bible.

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Many thanks to all those who supported the Macmillan Coffee morning last Wednesday. In excess of £260 was raised for this very important charity. Special thanks to Beryl Lee for organizing the morning.
We still require volunteers for the coffee rota, or it may not be possible to continue to offer refreshments after the service every Sunday. Please contact Jill Joyce if you are able to help at email@example.com.
Six walkers successfully completed the 40 miles of the Coventry Way walk on 12th September, raising funds for St. Andrew’s and the Laura Centre (which supports bereaved children). We are very grateful to everyone who was so kind as to sponsor us. If you haven’t already paid up, do please put your donation into the basket at the back of church and cross your names off the sponsor list. If you didn’t get chance to sponsor us, it’s still not too late to make a donation.
Are you interested in becoming a Community Leader? If so, there is a course at St Oswald’s Church on Thursday mornings, commencing 15th October at 10am. For further information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or see poster at the back of church.
Prayer Ministry St. Andrew’s/StAPH
If anyone requires prayer after the Sunday morning service please speak to Sue Masters or Lesley Lee and they will direct you to someone from the prayer ministry team who will pray with you. If they are not available there is a list of prayer ministry team members displayed at the back of church, and any member of the team will be happy to pray with you. For anyone requiring prayer at StAPH following the service please speak to Jayne Nye. There is a list of prayer ministry team members at StAPH on the display table.
