10th April 2016 – Third Sunday of Easter
St. Andrew’s Church welcomes allcomers, whether this is your first time or thousandth time in church. You are welcome whatever your age, gender, marital status, disability, race or sexuality. You are welcome whether you have a deep and mature faith in Christ; are uncertain and still seeking; or have no faith. If you are new to church, please do take a welcome leaflet to be found in the pews; and do not hesitate to ask one of the welcomers if you have any queries.
To all those who contributed to our Easter celebrations by leading services, praying, singing, reading, acting as sidespersons, decorating the church and offering admin support. You are all heroes! Thank you so much!
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of St. Andrew’s will take place tomorrow Monday 11th April at 7.30pm preceded by a communion service at 7pm. This is the only opportunity for the church leaders to report to the wider congregation and parish on God’s work amongst us over the last 12 months. It is also an opportunity to show appreciation to all those who work so hard to make St. Andrew’s what it is. Do consider whether you would like to stand for the PCC, since there are vacancies.
The meeting of the Welcome Team scheduled for 17th April has been postponed until the
following Sunday 24th April at 11.30am.
Prayer before Service
Anyone who would like to pray before the service would be welcome to join the small group in the choir pews between 9.40 and 9.50am. Please be aware that there is always prayer available after the service for any issue of concern.
