Pews News – 27th January 2019

27th January 2019 – The Fourth Sunday of Epiphany

St Andrew’s Church welcomes allcomers, whether this is your first time or thousandth time in church. You are welcome whatever your age, gender, marital status, disability, race or sexuality. You are welcome whether you have a deep and mature faith in Christ; are uncertain and still seeking; or have no faith. If you are new to church, please do take a welcome leaflet to be found in the pews; and do not hesitate to ask one of the welcomers if you have any queries.

Healing Service
We are grateful to the Prayer Team for leading our Healing Service this morning. Please pray that God will use this time to bring significant healing to many people.

The Link Magazine
Last week, the PCC reluctantly took the decision to bring to an end the Link as a paper magazine. Therefore, the February magazine will be the last in the current format. From March 1st onwards, the Link will be published online in a full colour digital format, which will be easily accessed directly through the St Andrew’s website, Facebook, My Eastern Green or the Allesley Green Residents Association website. It will contain all the usual content, except the advertising. We understand that this is a sad moment in the history of the parish and that not necessarily everyone will be able to access the new format. However, at a time when the church is struggling to make ends meet, we simply cannot afford to run a magazine, making a loss of £1500 per year and rising. Do pray for the continued success of the Link in reaching a new audience without losing its old. Finally, eternal thanks to the Link Team of Tracey, Richard and Barbara; and to all the faithful deliverers of the magazine.
