Bulletin – 30th March 2020

Church Bulletin

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”  Six months!  This is what some of the papers are reporting this morning about the possible length of time we may have to observe social isolation.  These words from Hebrews 12 are an encouragement to me in the face of this.  The writer continues: “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus.”  Good advice.

Church Service

Once again, we have had some lovely feedback about the service posted yesterday.  I very much appreciated Jeremy’s message and it was great to see faces that I haven’t seen since before the lockdown.  If you haven’t yet seen it, it can be accessed via the church website at http://standrews-eg.org.uk/.  Please do let us know about any technical problems.  One lady (who I don’t know) was emailing me back and forth yesterday and we were both overjoyed when she was finally able to access it.

We would love to have more volunteer readers to take part in services.  You will need a smart phone and an internet connection for this.
